At the Goshen Center for Cancer Care, traditional teamwork gives way to a practice that is far more aggressive in order to heal the entire person—physically and emotionally. A team of world-leading physicians work together, face-to-face every day, to develop innovative treatments and improve how cancer is fought. Individualized treatment plans custom to each patient’s needs put the patient and the family at the center of this focus.
Our unique, fully integrated care model recently received national recognition as a HOPE award winner by Hematology & Oncology News & Issues magazine. The national publication named the Goshen Center for Cancer Care "the best example of Integration of Care among entries in medium-sized community-based oncology practices."
Comprehensive care is also about combining conventional cancer treatments with “holistic,” often called complementary medicines, to treat the whole person. The key is coordination of these complementary therapies in conjunction with conventional medicine to maximize treatments and minimize side effects. The Goshen Center for Cancer Care continues to be the only cancer program in Indiana that offers holistic options from naturopathic physicians.
